I've a MKV video file and use WinAvi10 convert to Mpeg2. The problem is that when finish converting I play the Mpeg2 file and the person who is speaking I can only hear it on the right side of the speaker and the left side is like muted. I've tried other software to convert same thing. I also convert to dvd format with WinAvi same result. Why? What is wrong? The original MKV file when played is fine. Please advice. Thank you.

What is the audio codec in the mkv? Identify using MediaInfo
And what other apps have you tried? Try the best ConvertXtoDVD!
