Help! Converting mkv. to mp4 (dual audio problems)

I've been trying to convert this file into mp4 from mkv format:

It is a dual audio file so that means it has Japanese and English audio. The default language is japanese, but I want to convert it so i can hear the english audio ( I am converting it to mp4 so i can put it on my ipod). I have been trying to convert it with SUPER converter, but I haven't had any luck.

If there are any crafty people out there, I would greatly greatly appreciate your help!

I have successfully converted the file to AVI in english using AlltoAVI, but then I would need to do a second conversion to mp4. Is there a better way to do this?

Extract the video and two audio files with mkvextract.
Then mux the video and english audio track together into a new file with mkvmerge.
Finally convert with your favorite encoder.
