So I haven't used Vegas since 6.
Have some video I need editing using version 9. (Vegas Pro 9) Right off the bat I am stumped. I want to do a customized fade in. At first this seemed like a snap. Hover or top left corner until cursor changes. Drag for duration.
All simple. But now I want to adjust that more than selecting from the 5 different preset curves.
Before you could just right clicking (I have tried left also)
on the fade line to insert an envelope marker and drag that around but that isn't the case now. So can anyone inform me how to do such a simple thing now?

You have to left click on the transition properties, make sure you aim it and then an other windows is gonna show up with a bunch of custom properties.

Well I have it open.
Nothing happens at all when I left click on the transition line(except highlighting track) I assume this is what you meant by " transition properties" (just to clarify)
Right click brings up preset Fade In Type's.
Version 9.0c (build 896)
