  1. I'm a newbie, and I used MTR to try to convert a UDF disc that is sitting in my Mac's DVD player. I was hoping it would convert to a format I could import into Imovie and then edit, but it just created a folder on my desktop that has 2 sub-folders of Audio_TS and Video_TS??

    MTR will just rip the DVD. Try mpeg streamclip to make a mpg or dv from the dvd vob files.

  3. Do I have to purchase one of these programs to make it work after I download MPEG stream clip?...Quicktime MPEG2 Decoder or Quicktime Alternative 1.81 installed for MPEG2/DVD decoding....

    you need Quicktime MPEG2 Decoder,
    the other is not right for macs.....

  5. i usually use YADE X to export the contents of a video_ts folder and i do my edits with mpegstreamclip which allows me to keep them as VOB files and then i use toast to make a simple menu
