Thanx Neomaine for taking the time to reply but none of your "solutions" help. Thanx anyway

you can split the file into two parts.
re-encode the file to a smaller size
or Try formatting your USB drive with exFat to see if your DVD player recognises it, i haven't tried it but it might be an option -

Sorry for sounding ignorant dk145, but are there programs available to split AVI, ISO files? Any suggestions would help, if you cant name them on the forem, its fine i will google it. Thanx for the help

Kardi,
For splitting an AVI, which is probably divx/xvid, I believe AVIDemux and do that. At worst you can use VirtualDub in direct stream copy and clip the video somewhere at the end a scene somewhere towards the middle.
For ISO's probably a lot more trouble than its worth.
Personnally, I'd get a media player like the WDTV Live and network to your computer. It plays just about anything you can throw at it.Have a good one,
neomaine
