I used nero recode to compress my DVD movies. I am wanting to use TMT 3 to play my movies because I cant get the sound to work anymore on nero showtime. The problem is I bought a new video card ATI 5750 and it uses HDMI for the audo. Nero Showtime cant detect this so I get no audio

TMT 3 does support HDMI and I use it for my Bluray movies. The problem is I can see vidio but I dont get the audio on the files that I used nero recode to convert with. I can get audio with my blueray movies and anything I did not use nero recode on.

I have 1300 movies I used nero recode on and it took months to do all that work I really dont want to do it again if I can avoid it.

I have tried several programs and none worked and I have also searched all over the internet with no luck. Nero tech support is a joke they find any reason to not answer my question.

What is your Operating system? How are you speakers attached to your PC?

I am running windows 7 32-bit and I have it hooked to a pioneer SC-05 AV receiver. I have a 7.1 speaker setup. This is my HTPC

I did finally got the sound working last night by installing some AC3 codecs and I fixed my tearing issue by selecting the Triple buffer in my ATI drivers. I would still like to convert the files so I don't have to use Nero Showtime to play the movies.

I have to buy a copy of Nero for $119 for each of my computers and I don't want to do that. I have 5 computers and right now only 2 can play the movies. Its too expensive and I like TMT 3 much better anyway
