Pls help, I'm having trouble burning a copy of a PSX game

Hi, I dunno if anyone will answer this, but I'm having trouble burning a copy of a Playstation game. My bro borrowed Ridge Racer 4 from his friend (also a burned copy) and I want to make a copy of it. I'm using NTI CD-Maker 2000 Plus, I don't have another cd drive so I use the CD Copy tool using the NTI CD Image Writer to copy to my HD. But when I use the image writer it copies around 80% of the game and a box comes up that says "Illegal Request" and stops at that. I found that theres one 439mb file called "R4.str" and this is the file that is having trouble copying to my HD. I tried to copy and paste it to my HD seperately, but around 80% a box comes up that says this "ERROR COPYING FILE CANNOT COPY R4: CANNOT READ FROM SOURCE FILE OR DISK." Still I dunno if its prohibited to ask a question like this, but any help would be great, thx. Also there are only 5 files on the disc, and R4.str is the one that doesn't copy:

yes it is illegal to ask fer stuff like this...but kone thing is that there are many more files on a PSX cd tht you cannot see with just popin it in to a CD-Rom....NTI and CD Creator cannot copy PSX gmes properly so i suggest you use CloneCD or DiscJuggler
