Dear Friends,
I'm running the 1.0.2 version of VideoLAN on a laptop that has the 64-bit version of Windows Vista Ultimate as its OS.
I've downloaded some movies from the Dish Network's DVR box and recorded them on DVD's
When I play the movies they freeze periodically during playback and I have to do a restart of the computer to get the movie going again. The interesting point is that, trying to get the movie going and before doing a restart, I find that when I open <Computer>, the optical drive has disappeared; there is no longer an icon for it until I do a restart. It then reappears.
Any ideas as to what might be wrong?
Regards to all from
Jack Owens
