    Hi

I have been making some nice svcds and have had probs which i have sorted out along the way, but when making svcd from this film everything is ok up until a certain part of the film, the last quarter. (last 24 mins)

Everything is great up until the two main characters go to look at the car he and his dad made (for anyone whos seen it) After that the speech goes way out of synch. It looks like it is because the video speeds up in certain places so it goes at 25 fps then faster for a sec and then 25 fps then faster. So the audio just ends up way off the mark.

I have done the first 3/4 but this last bit is driving me nuts. I have deleted/defragged and ripped the files again with the same result. i have tried making 3 seperate mpegs of the trouble bit and nothing works. Used different versons of TMPGEnc too.

Anyone had similar probs, anyone have a clue what it might be, any help greatly appreciated.

ps i am viewing the files with mplayer if it matters

if ur talkin about dvd rips, the last time i had a problem like that i resolved by downloading the latest version of "smartripper". u may just need to get the latest version of whatever ripper u are using.
