Hey all,

Since I am not sure where my problem is arising I couldn't put this in a more specific forum. My friends have been trying to capture XBOX gameplay without buying an expensive capture card. A Dazzle DVC-80 I had worked with Windows XP, but was dropping frames (Due to USB 1.0 I presume?). We then tried relaying the gameplay through my Sony RDR-VX530 DVD/VHS combo, recording onto Memorex (yea, I know they suck) DVD+R discs. Finalizing them was surprisingly quick and I was disappointed to find they did not run on either a Mac or a PC, each having capable drives. The DVD came up as black, though Device Manager showed 4.4 gigs out of 4.7 and the other specifications. Is there a way to still extract these files on Mac or PC? What filetype does Sony DVD burners record to (Not in manual)?

Oh..DVDs play in the RDR-VX530 (of course).

Thanks in advance for any help, sorry if its a common issue or if relevant details are lacking.
