    if any body can shed some light on this i would appreciate it. how come when i make data-dvds how come they can only be read on the dvd-drive that burned them????????? i have to dvd drives ones a pioneer dvd-rw the other is a dvd player/ cd-rw. i make the backups discs and when i put them into the other dvd drive they cant be read? or any other dvd drive i come across for that matter. is there an option im missing? or a setting ? if anybody can help it would be appreciated

    reason why im asking is cause if my pioneer takes a dump im screwed

    Have you tried different dvd-rw brands?

    And some few dvd drives wont read dvd-rw.

    yes ive tried most brands but ive had this problem for along time nobodies seems to be able to solve the problem im having. ive used multi programs such as VSO and NERO guess ill try another brand/program. thanks anyways

  4. Describe in more detail "any other DVD drive I come across". Use numbers and device descriptions.

    Describe in more detail "data disk".

    Describe methods used to determine the disks "can't be read".

    Backup disks? Backups of WHAT? Video, or something else?
