So I started to burn a few comedy clips here and there to test out in my touch screen dvd player. When I put the disc in , the screen reads the dvd just fine and the show starts playing but the video won't show until i press "fullscreen" on the dvd player. That is fine for the first show/track, however, after the show is over..theres like a 3 second pause as if u were listening to a regular cd and it switches to the next track. The second shows starts playing but I cannot see the video until I press the Fullscreen button again on the monitor ! I do hear the audio though ... I must be burning it wrong b/c the video is not playing continuously? the dvd is playing continuously bc u can hear the audio but not the video ...or when i want to skip and press seek, it skips to the next show and starts playing but the video does not show until i click "fullscreen" again
i burn all divx files as data onto a dvr using nero (iso)
anyone have this problem or know how to fix it ?

I wouldn't use Nero for burning, but that's just a personal opinion. ImgBurn does better most times and it's free.
Most likely your problem is with the DivX encoding settings. You might try running one of your files through AVI ReComp and see if that fixes the issues. If so, you may want to change your encoder settings.
If not, you may have to tailor your Divx video to the requirements of your player. Do you have any DivX videos that play properly? What are you using to encode to Divx? Nero?
Others here may have better advice. It would help to mention the brand and model of your player as someone here may have experience with it.

using the dvd/navigation that comes with the 2010 cadillac SRX
using IMTOO video converter to convert the 1080 shows to hd divx. After conversion im just burning it straight from nero as a divx file. I do not want to convert files to dvd because you can fit as many files into a data dvd disc then to a dvd
I went into the navi settings and played the shows through "shuffle" option and it works flawlessy ..
looks like the only time the video plays with the audio without pressing the fullscreen is when its in "track mode"
any ideas? -
Most DVD players capable of playing DivX/Xvid video usually don't like, or have problems with, video above SD resolutions (typically a maximum of 720x576 (PAL) or 720x480 (NTSC)). When you're re-encoding the video, try converting it to an SD resolution as well, and see if the problem persists.

Seriously, that's probably why that mode is included - for files such as these.
