I have just randomly run a chkdsk which i thought waso k and hope is ok!
It is plugged in via firewire, it is an EIDE 500 GB WD Hard Disk. Use it for my file storage...
Anyway just done a random chkdsk on it to see if it was ok and it's stopped at 56% and hasnt budged for 3 hours...
Any ideas anyone?
If it's bad news what's the next step to take?
Thanks very much..

Plug it into system as slave and run tools there ... some interfaces arent as friendly to utilities.
