  1. I'm having some difficulties with playing a VCD I recently made . It's my first one, so I followed the turorial word for word. After the tedious converting process, I went ahead and burned the VCD. When I went to put it into my DVD player (a Samsung that says right on the case that it supports VCDs), it said "no disk." Anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong? I'd hate for all that time to have gone to waste .

Only recommendation I can think to make would be to use a higher quality CDR. I've found cheap green/blue disks sometimes don't work. also if you can look throught the disk in a high light enviroment, possibly the Laser of the DVD player can to.

Try Silver or Gold quality Disks.
