    Hi all
    Just got my new mobile phone and it will only take some formats and screen reslution of sizes
    For instance 640x480, 320x240 and 176x144 if not mistaken
    I have no problems so far playing wmv, mp4 and avi files but they need to be of the above given sizes.
    My question is if anyone knows how to resize or if there is a software for any of the given formats without the need to reencode any number of files.

    You cannot resize without re-encoding.

    As for which application - I like Xvid4PSP

    I have found converting to avi with virtualdub not very reliable.
    However I have discovered XMediaRecode2129 quickly re encoded flv and resized to mp4 format that suits my LG phone
