  1. Has anyone ever looked at this sight? I was wondering if this is worth it or is it all a scam? I'm new to this and I am looking for the easiest method possible.

I have a dvd/cdrw combo drive, and only 3 gigs of harddrive left. The "support team" at this website said their product will work on my system with no problems at all. Any one else have some suggestions for a program that I can use?

  3. If it is a divx program, how can they say it will play on almost any standalone dvd player? I thought none of them were compatible with divx?anyone have any ideas?

I've try it (SVCD) and nothing compares to CCE or TMPGenc. I know that you need just to press a button but you pay the price with low quality.

You can find it in http://www.dup-dvd.com/

  6. i agree you know that that program's output probally can'y compare to a well encoded svcd, and if the claims on the site are true then it probally divx encoding.

  7. Did anyone actually go to the site and check it out? I dont think it's divx because they claim it will play on all standalone dvd players, I also dont think its svcd because they say a standard motion picture length movie will fit onto 1 cdr. They wrote back an email to me stating I only need about 700mb of hard drive space available because the data from the dvd is compressed as it's stored on the computer. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Also is there any suggestions for ripping with a dvd/cdrw combo drive, and only 3 gigs of harddrive left? If anyone has a suggestion let me know.

  8. well if it plays back on standard dvd units, then it has to be either mpeg1 or mpeg2 ( and i doubt that to fit one movie on one 700 mb cd ), and if it vcd then it gonna look ugly as something has to give in the eqaution for it to fit. Eitherway it cant be good at all as the numbers do not stack up.

And my only suggestion would be to get another hard drive, as they are cheap enough. Space is cheap for what you want to do in quality.

if they say you dont need more than 700 mb on harddrive it would encode on the fly like, right. that would probibly kill the drive.

  10. It's a scam.

They show you a pretty box and call it DVD Squeeze, lol, what U actually get is programs you can get pretty much get anywhere for free. They sell the freeware programs illegally.

You usually get cladDVD or SmartRipper along with FlaskMPEG (see the screenshot on the web page) along with a pirated version of Nero.

    Complete scam!
