Rip bot took way to long...
and left distortion on fast moving images...
trying handbrake right now on a trailer..
seems that program is alot faster than ripbot

    and the deinterlace to slow..
    it was set to none...

    Now the long wait...
    transfering at 1.2fps
    3hr file...

    saying 80hrs...

  7. They all are front ends for x264. If you use the same settings, same filters, same x264 version...guess what... it will take the same amount of time You can speed it up by using lower quality settings, or slow it down by using higher quality settings. If your list specs are correct, it's much faster with newer hardware you might consider getting an upgrade

So the "distortion" was from interlacing that you forgot to take care of?

trying ojo soft total video converter....
seems good on the cpu but got to play with the bite rate...
    will google that...

  11. all encoders are cpu hogs. you can set handbrakes cpu priority in tools/options/cli. the lower it's priority the longer the task will take.
