  1. Anyone use Paint Shop Pro who knows how to achieve the "Sin City" effect where one color is dominant and the rest of the image is black and white?

There are several tutorials for Photoshop, such as www.tutcity.com/view/sin-city-coloring.6066.html. I'm sure most of it would relate to Paintshop.

I'd overlay images in photshop. Come up with a black and white image and then overlay an extracted color image.

Easiest way is to copy the picture and paste as new image and choose image/greyscale and then erase the intended color only and copy the erased new image and paste as new layer in the original picture. That way you dont have to position an extracted color image if there a few.

  5. My favorite method is to open the color image: Convert to Grayscale. Convert Back to RGB Color. You will now have the black and White image but inside of a RGB Color Space.
Go to the Hstory pallete and activate the originally opened color image but clicking on the little box to the left of the event.
Use the history brush in the tools pallete to paint in the color via Normal, Color, or whatever paint mode works for your needs.

  6. Thanks for the tips. I'll try it out and see what works best. Is there any way to create a mask using multiple anchors like I do in Vegas?
