  2. If you are going to make a slideshow Video CD then the max # pictures in still mode is about 1900. The resolution NTSC is 704x480 so pictures bigger than this will be scaled down.

If you burn a DVD-R, DVD-RW, or DVD+RW then the max is something like 9800 pictures.

There are several software packages to do this (read the FAQ to the left). I have Ulead DVD pictureshow & it works fine www.ulead.com but other people like Nero or other packages.

You could fit all your pictures into MPEG1 or MPEG2 motion format and have a very tiny time in between items but your resolution will drop to 352x240 (VCD MPEG1) or 480x480 (SVCD MPEG2).

  3. I must of misread ulead, i thought it said 99 pictures per slideshow ? Can I slide up to 1900 with music, 6 second pause with ulead ?

  4. 99 per slideshow, up to 99 slideshows to those maximums. You can change the time between when authoring, default 5 sec but 6 ok. You can add any music in wav or mp3 format.

There is a bug that if music < slideshow it might restart that music or jump random in the music. If you add music to a slideshow make sure it is >= slideshow length.

There is a trial version if you wanna try it. My only other gripe is the arrange can be a bit hard to work but certainly workable.
