I've had success with DVDDecrypter set to ignore read errors and limit hardware retries to 2.

Thanks both for replying.
nic2k4:In the(DVDDecrypter) I have not such choices listed., It reported the error but let me no choice of ignore. -
DVDDecrypter: Tools -> Settings -> I/O.
Under Options, check the box: "Ignore Read Errors". Also set " Software Read Error Retries". (I've found that more than about seven retries is futile).Pull! Bang! Darn! -

"DVDshrink" did not help me because the dvd in question did have an error.
"Isopuzzle" overwrite this error. But I wanted this dvd copied just the way it is, because it will play OK.
I bought this program series (5 dvd's ) with one only having an error. I requested from the seller a replacement. The replacement sent showed the same error indicating that this series was produced in a duplicating machine.
