I record videos with a Canon HG1 HD Camcorder on a hard drive and transfer the *.m2ts clips to harddrive. They're h264 and excellent quality.
The ImageMixer software that comes with the camcorder lets me do lossless video trimming, but it is so clunky to use that I'd love a suggestion as to what else could help me do that.
In general I've yet to find a good video editing program. I've tried older versions of Premiere Elements, Pinnacle, Vegas. But most are bloated and slow. (Can anyone tell me why in the world Pinnacle 12 is a 1.4 gig download!?)
Thanks in advance
