  1. I have a doubt what to buy.

As far as I've learned, aren't After Effects also capable of editing movies? Plus they got a very strong capabilities of video effects.

While as Premiere, from a demo I've tried, look like slightly more complex version of Sony Vegas?

I know some pro users will think I'm insane for asking this, but please help me out...

    What is the main difference?

If I have a video camera, and film something, what could my workflow look if I only had AE or if I only had Pr?

They are different tools for different jobs. Premiere is an editing with some effects capabilities. After Effects is a compositing and motion graphics application with limited editing capabilities.

If you are mostly going to do editing, get Premiere. You can do titles etc. and most of what you will do day to day in Premiere. If you also need to do effects then you really need both. After Effects on it's own is not a substitute for an editor.

of course buy first the Premier - it has many options which you can later apply in the after effects. I used to use both but to say honestly 95% of my work was in the Premier and very rarely in After effects. of course it depends on your work.
Now I try to use Avid - which is more professional but I have some problems with it. Are you familiar with Avid Media composer? My biggest problem is that when I work in one computer and want to use the same project on another computer it gives me media offline and actually can not yet use Avid - otherwise it is an excellent software - better organized than Adobe and more stable for bigger projects.

Think of after effects as a clip tool where you can go into layers. It is also known as a 2.5d object compositing tool. In other words it simulates 3d effects with 2d layers.

my question is about using Avid in various computers. Why project created as private, external or shared in one computer when open in another gives media offline - how to make in online?
