My second question at this forum.. When there are special features outside the VOB's for the main movie, I am having some problems. In particular with VOBS with menu or stills at the beginning. When using flaskmpeg on these particular VOBS (even vstripgui tells me it is probably a menu VOB), I do not get sound. ANd even selecting a particular part of the vob with flaskmpeg does not allow me to get the sound. Now I have found a sorta work around but it is very very tricky and the must be a different way..

Now I am loading these VOBS in dvd2avi and search until I find the trailer, making of etc etc. The dvd2avi will tell me which VOB-ID and cell the, let's say trailer, is. This info I now use to extract part of the VOB.. load vstrip_gui and have it run through the VOB completely and I get the LBA's for all the VOB ID/cells. if I find the vob-id and cells that I found with dvd2avi I run vstrip_gui again with only the staring lba and ending lba I want and run it. The resulting VOB I can now process properly with flaskmpeg...

The strange thing is again that DVDdecrypter, smartripper and cladmdec do not pick up these trailer/preview etc up from the IFO file.. Why is this ??? I do not understand ??!!!???

Anyway any clues hints or better way to rip out these trailer or extra features are very welcome :-)
