  1. I want to know how to make the avi file smaller by about 40mb or so, so it will fit on a cd. Not too sure how to do it. Its like 755mb and i dont feel like making the file to fit on two cds.

    get 90/99 mins cdrs...if your burner supports it
    or
    cut something out with virtualdub
    or
    reencode the entire video to lower bitrate
    or
    BUY THE DVD

  3. the easiest way would probably be to use VirtualDub and keep it set to direct stream copy for the video and re-encode the audio with a lower bitrate. that way you will not loose any video quality at all and the final file size will be smaller.
