  1. I can't find a good tutorial anywhere as far as how to do this. I made a 16:9 DVD with Ulead DVD Workshop but the menus only output as 4:3. I've read that this can be changed using ifoedit, but I've never used this program before and my knowledge of how DVDs are structured is pretty slim. Can anyone here explain how to change my menu to 16:9?

    Thanks!

  2. Open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file and double-click the first MPEG file in the lower window:

    Then change the attributes:

    Hit OK and Save.

  3. OK, thats simple, sorry, I assumed it was more complex. However, My file doesn't say MPEG-2. I assumed it was an error, I thought DVDs only read MPEG2. Should I leave this as MPEG-1 or change it to MPEG-2?

  4. Leave it as MPEG-1.Use a software player to make sure it plays properly before burning.

The DVD spec actually allows for MPEG1 (e.g., for VCD-like video). For details, see "What is DVD" in the upper left corner of this page.
