I want to backup some of my DVDs to be able to play in my media pc which is connected to my 42" TV. I also want to be able to keep the subtitle. The only program that I have found that is able to keep the subtitle is DVDFab. Are they any other good programs that can do that? And of course I want the outcome to be the best quality as possible...the file size does not matter to me.

if all you care about is the quality then don't re-encode to anything. keep dvd video as is. copy the video_ts folder to the hard drive and call it a day. ANY re-encoding will cause a loss of quality.
