I have just bought a Philips DVDR3590h and when i connected to reciver it give a message (no signal detected).
the connection like that.
reciver vedio+audio OUT --> DVD vedio+audio IN
DVD vedio+audio OUT --> TV vedio+audio IN
some one told me the DVD is protected to not detect the reciver signal![]()
for the expert people what is the solution?
thank you

By receiver, I assume you mean SAT or cable receiver. It should work just fine, but it may depend on how (ie: what type of connections - S-video, RCA, etc.) the units are connected together. You also have to select the corresponding input on the recorder to record from.

thanks Krispy Kritter
I have spoke with Philips sales man he said to me the device is locked. and its need an activation code to work with receiver and other device. but they cant give me this code.
i mean not the multi region code, its diffrent code.
any body have that code?
thanks again -
I don't know what code they are referring to...you shouldn't need an "activation code" to make a dvd recorder operationable.
Maybe someone else knows what is going on.Google is your Friend
