  1. I've tried about a dozen different programs with absolutely no luck on these vids, I am unable to find the video links or anything:

    and if you have S-video output from video card, set video full screen and capture with DVD video recorder.

    Or if your video card has Component Video out ... use a DVR to record the video card ... the Polaroid DVD Recorder is my first thought. Most people hate it ... but it does record Component Video .. I think the Philips DVD Recorder does too.

    I have tried the method mentioned above ... didn't really like the quality of the video ... they were XXX movies that had DRM in them.

    These are so low quality that I would not try to capture in full screen mode. I would just capture the video window. I use Snagit to capture these types of videos. Don't use the default capture codec (CRAM) because it is crap.

    I do full screen captures of high quality TV shows on my PC with the divx 6.8 codec in HD mode at 30fps and 44Hz 16bit PCM. They look pretty good on my 36" TV.
