    Hey all

Whilst looking at the start up programmes on my computer, I noticed this. Can anyone tell me what this start up is ?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Looks suspicious. I would run anti-virus scan on that folder, and disable that for startup

Check taskmanager to see if any suspicious processes are running.

Likely a virus or other crapware.

I checked the process, nothing to be found suspicious of. I did however remove a few viruses few days ago. Not sure if that would have been traces left behind ?

My Anti virus didn't pick it up now, after scanning the folder, but have now disabled it on start up.

you should be suspicious of anything running out of a temp. dir
most likely a left over entry from malware

    click start > run
    type %temp% and hit enter
    delete everything you can

Thanks, I did that, only a few files couldn't be deleted. I did a scan in safe mode using Spybot and found a registry key 'sexvid' goodness knows where that came from.
