    i encoded an .avi to dvd and played it fine on dvd player
    then the next day i played it on playstation 2 and it was skippy and pausing then i decided to watch it on dvd player instead but now the problems i had on ps2 happen on dvd player?

    did my ps2 cause this problems??

    Almost certainly poor media. Try Verbatim or Toyo Yuiden
