    I want to reinstall my Windows XP. Please tell me how to save the Favorites.

    If you mean the internet explorer or firefox favorites shortcuts than you use the import/export option in the browser you use most. Then that way you can get them for other browsers.

    If you are going to do a full reinstall including wiping/formatting the drive you need to back up every file and folder containing any personal and unique data that you want to keep. For favorites, I use the built-in Windows backup utility, choose the option to select what I want to back up (which would in your case include favorites), make the selections and run the utility backing the chosen data to "My Documents". From there, I burn the backup to CD and use it to restore the data to the new installation.

    If you have never done this, Windows includes a primer on how to use the Backup and Restore Utility.
