Hello! I hope I titled my thread properly but here's my situation. I have three dvd-r's (Sony DVD-R AccuCore) and they play fine on my laptop and dvd player (Toshiba SD-1700). When I go to my friend's house, two discs play fine but one doesn't. I ripped a copy of that disc again and same problem. He has a Phillips (I need to get the model info) and a PS3. The PS3 plays the two no problem but doesn't want to play that third disc.
I've searched Google and VH.com as best as I could but couldn't find my solution. Any word on what could be behind this? Thank you very much!

His player likely doesn't like the type/brand of those discs. Even though it appears to play a few of them fine, isn't a good indication the media is supported. The easiest test is to simply reburn on a different brand/type of media.
