    Can anyone tell me if i need a special graphicscard to watch dvd movies on my DVD drive for my computer? I have a Asus 7700,but i can only get the drive to work as an ordinary CD-Rom.Do i need any special software? Is it enough only to use software? Does the software only support certain types/brands of DVD-Rom drives??

    No special is needed just a software dvd player to play dvds like WinDVD. What happens when you put a dvd in the drive? can you browse it in explorer?
