I have DVP 5986 DVD Player. It has 5.1 Channel Audio too.
So if I play mp3 will it convert it into 6 channels to get output from 5.1 speaker system!
It it converts does it have Dolby ProLogic system in it? but no logo is there!!!

No, it won't convert. It plays and outputs audio in its original form. In other words, stereo mp3s playback in stereo. Any conversion to multiple channels will need to be performed in your Receiver/amplifier.

Most DVD players simply read the data from the disc and output it, they don't perform any mixing/conversion. They can often take a 5.1 soundtrack and only output stereo if needed, but there are none that I'm aware of that will take a stereo mp3 and convert it to 5.1.

The Oppo players with multichannel analog outs can apply DDPLII to stereo, and also include settings for bass management, etc. This is done because many receivers with analog inputs cannot matrix the audio from that input.
