Just curious. I remember awhile back being able to use tools that were supposed to hide your ip while online. Do those actually work? Also are there any still around?
If so what search parameters should I use? "stealth surfing" ip hiding? spy surfing?

I think that you are referring to an anonymous HTTP proxy server. Sure, there are many of them on the web via Google. I can't attest for their effectiveness.

And keep in mind that not all proxy servers are secure. Just because they are not forwarding your IP, doesn't mean that they aren't logging all connections.
