  1. Hi
I use my digital camera to take videos. I have made several attempts to join about 30 small clips. I have tried DGindex, tmpgenc and Dos command copy /b *.MPG all.mpg.

Only the dos command seems to produce a mpg that is in has video and audio in sync.

I then use virtualdub with the antishake filter then I save in uncompressed format. This produces video and audio that seems to be ok at the start but by the end is way off. Very similar to the way the audio and video were off by using tmpgenc to join.

Can someone suggest something that I could try to correct this problem.

    Thank you.

  2. Try appending with mpg2cut2

You might also try appending directly with vdub (with mpeg2 plugin), or avidemux (which is usually good handling sync issues)

  3. I have created the mpg with mpg2cut2. When I open it with vdub 1.8 it only opens the first clip not the entire movie. If I use vdub 1.5 it will open the entire movie. I am deshaking now so I won't know until sometime tomorrow if it will be ok.

I could not get vdub to append with the plugin. Not sure how to do that.

    Thanks for the quick reply
