dvd players and headphones

is there anything i can buy so i can listen to them with headphones, my tv dosent have a head phone jake and the dvd dosent eather, can some let me know what i need to buy, im in canada btw

Problem with using a direct connection as in Bodyslide's post is that RCA output usually has no volume control. Some headphones have one built in, but can't boost the sound.

I run the audio from the TV using RCA cables to the AUX input to the stereo. The stereo will have a headphone socket.

Also, you can get wireless headphones. You can plug the transmitter into either the TV or the stereo, quite cheap.
