    Ok i hope there is someone out there who can help,i have ripped some movies to my hardrive that i want to keep there,i use vlc player as they are in the vts format, is there a simple way to convert the 4-5 vts files into a single avi file and leave them on my hardrive as i don't want to burn them to dvd,thanx for any help

    AutoGK, just open the vts*.ifo from the dvd and convert.

    Of course you will. How much depends mostly (if using AutoGK), on how much they're compressed.
