    I would like to know how can i open a VCD movie to my XP computer.

    have to have a vcd player, win dvd, power dvd 4.0 or you can download sthvcd for free. you can also open the dat file on a vcd with windows media player.

    Hotfiles.com?

    You can open the .dat file on the vcd (in the MPEGAV folder) with Windows Mediaplayer so you don't need any extra player. NOTE: This is only for VCD. If you want to play SVCD you will need a software dvdplayer like powerdvd etc.

    The Only way I got them to play on xp is PowerDVD 8)
