hi,

i found here instruction on how to hack philips dvp5960 by nexus6 posted on may 11, 2006. i tried to follow it but got confused when i reached preference. i don't know where to key-in 138931. in my unit under preference there where several options - audio, subtitle, disc menu, parental, pbc, mp3/jpeg nav and password. i did try to press the numbers while the screen was in preference but nothing came out.

anyone who have successfully done it please help me.

It's a hidden feature not accessible from the menu. When you're on the Preferences page in the setup menu, just punch in 138931 and you will be prompted to change the region.
