On weekends I like to record tech streaming radio broadcasts (e.g. Leo Laporte on KFI) to Audacity and this works fine on my PC laptops (XP or Vista).
I want to use my Mac as an alternate recorder.
First I installed Flip4Mac WMV to get WMV streaming support into Qucktime and can hear the broadcast fine.
Next I installed the Mac version of Audacity but can't connect to the stream for recording.
Anyone know how? I had to struggle with Vista audio into Audacity and solved that, how do I do it on an Intel Mac?

Audacity works a bit differently under Mac OS than under XP/Vista. You'll need another app to enable capture. Audio Hijack is one.
See http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=recording&i=streaming
for additional info about this topic. As you can tell, it's one of the more popular questions.

Thanks for the tip.
