Try a used playstation 3. That may be your best bet.

Of course if you have a pretty speedy computer bluray rom only drives are under 200.00 new now. But you ideally need a dual core pc with a hdcp capable graphics card and monitor (or connected to a hdtv with hdmi).

Be warned - right now the ONLY player absolutely and totally guaranteed to fully support all BluRay features is the PS3. There's talk about some standalone players that will support the final BluRay profile, but I don't know if such players are on the market yet or not. If you buy one of those players that doesn't support the final profile (most players currently sold do NOT support the final profile, which I think is called 2.0), the movie will play but the extra disc features may not play at all. Many consumers are absolutely furious to find out that they were sold players that cannot be upgraded to support the final profile and the players were sold by the manufacturers knowing this to be the case. A class action suit is pending. If you try to save money, it's up to you to do the research to find out if your player fully supports the final standard or not. Again, ONLY the PS3 is guaranteed to fully support the standard at this time and other players may or may not.

Bargain BluRay players that fully support the standard are years away at best from hitting the marketplace.

I've heard they actually have an 'audio-only' Profile 3.0.
