    Hey guys ive been backing up my movies for years using DVDSHRINK and 2 movies in a row dont work, They say "Playback Feature not available" when i put them in the dvd player, I havent changed my dvd-r discs or anything What is causing this?

    If it's a backup of a newer DVD, you may need to rip it first with a program like DVDFab HD Decrypter. DVD Shrink hasn't been updated in some time and it needs help with the newer encyptions.

    one of them is new and one is old should i re install shrink maybe??

    Just a suggestion, try SlySoft AnyDVD if you are having problems ripping newer DVDs

    Its updated very frequently to 'assist' ripping newer or specific DVDs and will quite happily work with DVD DEcrypter, which is the combination I have been using since DVD Decrypter was forced to be discontinued


    I have had only two DVDs that this combination couldn't handle, so just used the included DVD Ripper with AnyDVD, no problems since. It hasn't failed on any DVDs, and now fully supports ripping Blue-Ray and HD-DVD
