    DLP cinema projectors are mostly 2Kx1K (2048x1080) and designed for smaller multiplex theaters. The picture quality far exceeds home HDTV due to much higher bitrates.

    Larger digital theaters like the Landmarks are going for 4Kx2K Sony SXRD projectors.
