Hi, new to the site. Hope you can help. I have 2 handycam dvd-r 30 min videos (kids baseball games) I would like to combine to make 1-60 min DVD-R. Is there an easy way to "remap"/remenu the videos with 2 menus...game-1, game-2 without converting the vob and ifo files to avi or something and reconverting again? Camcorder is a Sony DCR-DVD308. I normally use Studio-9 for making my videos, but have not had to combine 2 dvd's before. Would like to save time and dvds (not having to burn a dvd for game-1 and another for game-2 and then copy 12 of each for the parents).
Any help would be greatly appreciated

  2. you should be able to "re-use" the vobs. they are already in mpeg-2 format and won't need to be re-encoded. not sure about studio9 but with most video suites you just add the vobs off of both dvdrs to a single new project and go from there making menus and authoring. the most time it should take is demuxing the vobs into audio and video streams.
