hi
i've got a little problem
i shot some footage with canon's somekind of DV camera - it has a big lens, a 2 way microphone etc...
when i imported the video into my PC i didn't know anything about the fps, aspect ratios etc..
so now i have a video that has a resolution of 720x576 and fps is 25.00 (i got it into the pc somehow by watching the filesize and quality etc... and everything seemed ok)
when i started a new project in premiere, i didn't pay attention to the fps and i just created a timeline with fps 29,97
profile might be microsoft dv avi or smth...
i found out the resolution difference as well while exporting the finished movie and then saw that the fps was wrong as well :\
now i'm like a cow stuck in a barrelif i put the resolution right then it creates a movie with all the sound running behind littlebit. and when i get the sound right (by using somekind of default export values) then the sound is in it's place, but resolution is not right... :S
is there a way to automatically change the timeline to 25 fps without losing the music/video sync?
when i click on the Sequence 1 in premiere, it shows the resolution of 720x480, but when i export it with the same values, the sound is running behind. (i'm using huffyuv as the lossless stuff :P)
thanks!
PS: the project file is like 2MB and the video itself is 12 minutes.
so it was quite a bit of work putting 2hrs of footage into that...
