Haven't got any experience w/ blu-ray yet, but I've been splitting DVD-9s to two DVD-5s wanting to keep the original pic quality, working menus, etc. Been using Vobblanker as shown in this guide, http://download.videohelp.com/jsoto/guides/VobBlanker/splitdvd9/index.php.

I was just wondering if a tool like vobblanker was possible for blu-ray?

    Nope.

You can cut blu-ray m2ts using tsmuxer but you wont be able to keep any menus.
