    Hi, I'm trying to make a movie in Windows Movie Maker, and I've downloaded some .avi clips, but they won't show there...or anywhere else as in it only plays sound, but no pictures/video shows up. I'm currently using Windows Vista, but I've made videos before just fine with Windows XP. Could someone tell me what's wrong? Thanks

    [Could you please explain thoroughly as I'm not that great with computers yet]

  2. Try playing the avi clips in VLC player and check their specs in Gspot.

    Well, it's working with VLC but it still won't show up in WMV; Here's what I got from Gspot:
    - - ** Problem ** ** File Missing: C:\Program Files\ArcSoft\PhotoImpression 5\Modules\browser\ezrgb24.ax
    - - Type DSH
    - - Function Other
    DSH 4CC Video
    DSH Friendly Name Render Dib New
    DSH DirectShow CLSID {40AF8200-4E6E-11D4-878D-00C0F6B0D1A7}
    REG Driver File C:\Program Files\ArcSoft\PhotoImpression 5\Modules\browser\ezrgb24.ax
    REG Merit 0x00200000

    No idea what that means...but that's the file I'm missing I guess...

    Does that file (ezrgb24.ax) actually exist at that location? If so, you may need to re-register it.
    (What does PhotoImpression have to do with video playback, anyway? I'm curious.)
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
