    I put together about 3 .avi short clips....which added up to about 8mb.......6 pics which added up to about the same. As well as two 1min song cut-outs. All of this was probably under 20mb. When I rendered it into .avi........It gave me a file of 500mb large! Why is the file so large and how can I fix it.

    What video codec did you choose? DVD Video?

    And lower the video and audio bitrate to get smaller output file size.
