DVD Hangs in one Area

Recently backed up my DVD The Eye. Extracted with Defab 5, was able to wash it through Shrink to get better quality. Watched it on my computer using Media Player Classic. All was well. Copied it to DVD, hung in one spot. Alert from DVD player said "attempting to read media" then continues to play after a few seconds. I decided to burn another copy to see if the first copy might not have copied correctly. Hung in the same spot for the same amount of time, then continued to play. Any ideas why this may have happened and how to fix it???? Thanks

same batch of discs? could be a run of bad dye in that area. try another brand/or spindle.
